Review: Okay, I've never in my life experienced the amount of genuine concern for the customer, from any marina, shipyard or boating supply company as I have witnessed from Jean Street Shipyard! I ran into a problem with parts, because of my own ignorance and they not only refunded my money, but refused to allow me to reimburse them for their time and resources that they spent on my behalf... again, this was due to my ignorance. They truly are concerned about their customer's needs above their own bottom line and they go far beyond any industrial or commercial standards to see that their customers are taken care of. This kind of business practice is exactly what stands out head and shoulders above what has become the norm or standard in business practice and I encourage anyone that has the needs that they can satisfy, to patronize this business, as I can say that they will undoubtedly go above and beyond to meet your needs. I really cannot say enough. This is one of the top 10 businesses of all time that I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with! AAAAAAAAAAAAA+++++++++++++

Review: John the owner is a nasty individual. I was trying to help my father get a boat to his yard and I had never spoke to John or Jean street marina because that was between my dad and the marina I was just the middle man helping get it there to help my father. In the mix of all this John acquired my number from the delivery driver and called me. Ripped me up one side and down the other about a situation I didn’t know any details about. Talked to me like I was a piece of trash on the side of the road and never once texted or called back afterwards to apologize. Never met or talked to this man a day in life prior to this. Who are you to talk to someone like that? Not professional at all and with that attitude the end for Jean street is near.

Review: My real honest review, shipyard crew Does good work but went $270 over my $1500 budget. John got heated and hung up on me when discussing the boat threatening to drop the boat back in the water. Work done was painting 9" black stripe around 30ft boat, replaced 2 thru hole fittings starboard side, haul out and drop fees, replaced freezer door springs, removing pinstripe decals total $1770💰 paid via PayPal because he doesn't take credit card. i also asked for 2 kill switch caps, zinc and a waste cap but never got those items unfortunately. trying to get a quote and agree on price beforehand was my main issue. This is my first boat and needed some patience and professional advice not attitude. He did deliver boat back to the dock for free 👍 but forgot to lock up and turn off power afterwards. Debating on bringing my boat back there since he never apologized for hanging up on me, I Didn't even yell or curse, I was respectful dispite his poor attitude and lack of communication skills. I think 3 stars is a Very fair rating considering all that.
